Being a young’n, I got a prayer over me by my Dad and it’s very special because it’s almost like me and my Dad had a different religion because Dad didn’t really care about my Christian walk, but there he is praying for me. Wow!

How do you think attending this Event will assist you in your Christian walk?  Being specifically for men and it teaches me so much. Helps me a lot with every young man’s battles. It gave me a real positive attitude as I left.    Daniel

The Event was AWESOME! The worship was great and so was the youth programme, Transition. The theme was on becoming a man and taking responsibility. With messages from Nick Tuitasi and other great speakers, it was a life changing youth session.

Three speakers really stood out for me. These were Gary Grut, Nick Tuitasi and Mike Connell.

I have had a great weekend and have received a message which I am sure will be life changing. I am glad I came and will be coming back next year.   Bruce

Promise Keepers got me kicked into gear so I can go full throttle.      Kerry

It was great and I’m glad I came. I came up unsuspecting that I would be going home with the Holy Spirit. I also don’t earn much but took on the responsibility of a World Vision child. I am going to put the payment for the child first and continue on my path to holiness.      Thomas

Packed, absolutely packed, and not just packed – “ACTION” packed. I never knew you could get so much into a weekend and progress made. Well, at the rate we go at Promise Keepers, we could have built Rome in a day. I know, thanks to Promise Keepers, I became 100 times closer to God, my Saviour. Cheers PK, you da bomb.

All in all, a wonderful experience. Transition showed me what it means to be a man and it was great to be around young men like myself. The worship and prayer was amazing and that in itself drew me closer to God.

It has proven to me that if you ask for something in the name of the Lord, it will be provided to you. It has also shown me the benefits of taking responsibility.       Darrel (17)
