What the Speakers Think About Transition

“This year I have been involved in running Transition. To say it has been a revelation for me would be under-selling it. Having previously worked as a youth pastor for 8 years, one of the greatest needs I saw repeatedly was young guys missing the powerful influence of a father who “gets it”. So many young guys grow up without a dad, or a dad that is not the influence he should be. At Transition this year we have been finishing by inviting dads to join us and pray for their sons, and asking the sons to pray for their fathers. While not everyone had a dad there,
everyone was prayed for and with. Watching this take place throughout the country has given me goose-bumps, and had me on the verge of tears every time. If more fathers would invest in their sons’ lives at that level and well beyond the Event I think we would be growing a generation of young men who can influence and shape our society the way God intends. I love being involved.”
