The Cross

One of the most vivid and powerful messages the Lord poured into my life to take to the men of the world was the message on the CROSS.

It is the only place of entrance into the Kingdom of God, and the only place where reconciliation of men to God is found. It is the place of exchange. You exchange your will for God’s will. You take sin and leave with righteousness; take sorrow and leave with joy; take guilt and leave with acquittal; take addictions and leave with freedom; take self and leave with Jesus.

It is all found at the cross. People who have never come in by way of the cross have no understanding of true salvation. Without the cross, they are only life enhancement Christians, and don’t understand the difference between a conviction of sin and an attack of the devil. They can swing with the world on Saturday night and sing in the choir on Sunday morning.
