Robert Siakimotu

Robert is the International President of Open Air Campaigners and was one of the founders of Polynesian Ministries based in New Zealand, which is now a department of the Auckland branch. Robert is a Niuean by birth and is married to Laisa. (Fijian) They have three children; Deane, Ritchie and Joanna. (Their eldest daughter Jaimie, was promoted to be with her LORD as a result of leukemia in 1988 at the age of seven) Both Robert and Laisa were graduates of Fiji Bible College of Theology and Evangelism which is in Lautoka Fiji and run by Ambassador For Christ. Robert completed three years and Laisa two receiving diplomas in Biblical Studies, Christian Ministries and Practical Evangelism. In 2003 Robert completed two degrees (B.Th, B.A in Biblical Studies) through the same college and from Evangel Christian University in the US. In March 4th 2006 Robert received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity at Evangelical Bible Seminary in Myanmar (Burma). In November 25th 2006 he received another Doctorate of Divinity at Fiji College of Theology and Evangelism in Lautoka Fiji. Robert is the first former student from the college to be honoured in such a way. After graduating, Robert and Laisa worked with the Niue Ekalesia in Niue Island as Youth Leaders prior to joining OAC Ministries in New Zealand in 1980. The Siakimotu family now resides in Mangere, Auckland. Robert continues to serve the LORD as an Evangelist and the International President and also seeking to develop the ministry of OAC in the South Pacific. Laisa works as a Teacher Assistance with a local school close to their home and supports Robert in many ways in the ministry. Their three children Deane, Ritchie and Joanna are in tertiary education. The Siakimotu family is members of Onehunga Bible Chapel where Robert is an elder and preaches regularly in the church and Laisa is leading a ladies group that meets once a month. Robert is a talented and gifted Evangelist and Communicator to those who are Polynesians and those that are not. The work Robert is involved in includes; Teaching WTB Seminars, Training Christians on Evangelism, Preaching in the open air, Running children’s Evangelistic outreaches, doing personal evangelism in the shopping malls and on the streets, Preaching in the churches in and outside the Auckland area, Speaking at camps and conferences. Robert also ministers overseas especially in the Pacific region in countries like Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Niue, Cook Island and Vanuatu but recently he is doing a lot ministry in the US, Europe and South America with the OAC teams based in the above countries. Robert is also a member of the International Board of Open Air Campaigners International. He is currently in the process of planting new branches of OAC Ministries in the Pacific region and coordinating the expansion of the ministry in the same region. |
