This breakout is specifically designed to help Pastors with the vital, strategic mission of discipling men to biblical manhood. Promise Keepers Events can activate men but it takes an enlightened church to help men grow through the process of keeping promises and maturing spiritually. Get more men actively involved in your church and release the resources and potential of motivated men. For Pastors and Men’s Ministry leaders.

Unleashed 2006
Because of the proven value of Pastors' involvement in ensuring the success of Men's Ministry, there was a special breakout for Pastors only at the 06 "Unleashed" Events. The PK team shared some key insights and practical ideas to help move Ministry with Men into the fast lane.
In a unique new initiative, run simultaneously with the Pastors' Breakout there was a section in the main Event about the importance of Men's Ministry and what ordinary guys can do to help develop it.
When the Pastors returned, there was an opportunity for the men to pray with them. Planning tools were provided to explore possible strategies for Ministry with Men.

What Pastors and Leaders are saying about
The Promise Keepers Events and Pastors Breakout
Attending a Promise Keepers Event gives the men in my church a renewed vision and hunger for God. It helps them face issues in their lives, imparts faith, hope and encouragement. When a group of men from my congregation attend a PK Event they get a vision for serving God and have a desire to meet with men within the church context. These Events inspire men’s ministry within the local church. I think pastors should attend… with the guys in their church because it will help build relationships with the men and show them that men’s ministry is important.
Fantastic! I brought a band of guys who hadn’t been before and it was so exciting to see them make a commitment to grow as men in God’s own heart. What a church we will have!
I encourage pastors to grab a mate and bring them along to Promise Keepers. It will be a great investment of your time.
Another great time of inspiration and motivation to be the Christian man God intends me to be… I appreciated the Friday “Pastors’ Seminar” too.
I would recommend pastors accompany their men to Promise Keepers Events because there is opportunity for an incredible bond to grow between a pastor and his men. From their point of view it demonstrates “the pastor is serious toward me because he made the effort to accompany me here”.
As a pastor, it was great to have 6 other guys from our church/parish with me. They were challenged and encouraged to become stronger men in the Lord.
And an example of the impact on a man they brought…
The one thing I found different was this: The first two times were for me to grow. While I found that over time the message was still for me, my focus was not totally on myself. My focus was also on how the message could be used for others such as [men’s small] groups and other aspects of men’s ministry.
