Directed by Dr. Mark Laaser, a recovered sex addict, The
Christian Alliance for Sexual Recovery, provides consultation, workshops and
other services for individuals and families impacted by pornography and sexual
addiction.
Focus on The
Family

A ministry founded by psychologist Dr. James Dobson, Focus
on the Family provides initial phone counseling as well as a referral service
to help individuals find Christian counselors in their area. Focus on the Family also recently launched a
Web site at www.pureintimacy.org to
address online pornography and affairs.
Stone Gate
Ministries
Dr. Harry W. Schaumburg, author of the book False Intimacy: understanding the Sturggle
of Sexual Addiction (Nav-Press) founded Stone Gate Ministries. Specializing in “Brief Intensive
Counseling,” Stone Gate has offered
hope and recovery to hundreds of men, including many Christian leaders, trapped
in sexual addiction.
Heart to Heart
Dr. Douglas Weiss, a lecturer, author and therapist
recovered from sexual addiction, formed Heart to Heart ministries, based in
Fort Worth, Texas. His ministry offers
counseling services and other resources.
