Financial Assistance FAQ's

Why is financial assistance available?
Promise Keepers wants every man who desires to be at our Events to be able to attend, regardless of their financial circumstances. Promise Keepers has to set registration fees at a realistic level so that the Events are economic to run and the ministry can continue. However Promise Keepers will subsidise men who cannot afford the full registration fee.

Who is eligible?
Everyone has different circumstances. People on low incomes will often struggle to afford things like conferences. Others can experience transitions that affect their ability to pay. Each man’s situation is considered on its merits.

Many men are reluctant to ask for help so we want to assure you that our team will process your registration sensitively.

How much is the subsidy?
The financial assistance is for registration costs only. Promise Keepers prefers not to offer 100% subsidies as experience shows that it results in low levels of commitment and a devaluation of the Event experience. Applicants will be asked how much they can afford to contribute to the cost.

How is the financial assistance paid for?
Some men donate money into the financial assistance account specifically to help other men get the opportunity to go to Promise Keepers. Any shortfall has to be made up from the Promise Keepers general fund.

How do I apply?
Go to the Registrations Desk at TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre.  The staff there will be able to help you.
