It was great and very challenging – to do what is right toward my family and my personal life. A personal highlight was the challenge to surrender our whole lives to Christ. It reminded me of a time  when our first daughter was going to be born dead or if not dead, mentally retarded, so we said, Lord you gave her to us so we surrender her completely to you.” She was born normal. I loved it – very encouraging. I know these Events help a lot with discipleship and just growing in the Lord on a daily basis. And there’s stuff we can only share with other men. So this is a powerful ministry that is definitely beneficial for younger and older men so they can be better family members and church players. It is indeed a privilege to attend Promise Keepers, it gives me the opportunity to have fellowship with Christians and to learn insights and in-depth spiritual upliftment.  Being a worker coming from the Philippines it is an experience to meet other believers here in New Zealand. As a father, I feel that I have learned to do my responsibility to mould my children as God-fearing and responsible kids to follow Christ as He has loved us.
