Action Points for Committed Fathers
| 1. | Do you tend to be a problem-fixer or a relationship-builder? Do you tend to give opinions or seek information? Ask your wife for her perspective. |
| 2. | Ask your children for examples of how you care for them. Listen closely and thank them for their comments. |
| 3. | Make contact with another father or family who is going through tough times and do something to provide encouragement. Seek to include your family in the process. |
| 4. | Made any plans for the holidays? Discuss with your family ways you hope to connect with extended family members. Ask them for ideas and input. How much vacation time can you invest in making their ideas happen? |
