Hosanna Porirua, the founding church of a fast growing movement of multicultural Baptist churches called “Hosanna Network”. They have around 30 cultures at Hosanna Porirua. Hosanna Porirua is strong on family, community and the use of creative dramatic arts. Gary loves to relax by designing and building new creations like embalming equipment, computer ribbon welding devices, a highly efficient “water turbine” that generates power in the South Island and the new Hosanna multi-media auditorium. |

| An unusual aspect of the churches he has led is the fact that more men than women have become first-time disciples of Jesus. Gary and Pauline have been married for 29 years and have 3 daughters, Adele, Saila (Cambodian by birth) and Johanna, all in their early twenties. |
